Expertly packed for fragile ceramics. Every Author piece is hand-wrapped, double-boxed, and cushioned for the journey with paper, recycled cardboard, and reused packaging wherever we can.

Our promise. If a piece arrives broken, we’ll replace it or refund you. Your call.

All of our pieces are carefully packed in large boxes using eco-friendly packaging to ensure they arrive safe and secure even on long journeys.

A tracking number will be provided once your order has been shipped. Please note that all deliveries require a signature. If you’re not home at the time of delivery, your local postal service will hold your parcel for 12 days before returning it to us. If an order is returned, any reshipping costs will be your responsibility.

For international orders, please be aware that customs tariffs and local taxes may apply depending on your country. These charges are not included in your purchase price and are the responsibility of the customer.

Due to the high cost of shipping, international orders are non-refundable and cannot be returned.

Hand Sculptured and Formed: Every part of this piece is sculptured by hand. Starting with balls of clay, each piece is hand rolled, bent and twisted to form into a very unique piece of art

Authors Special Blend of Clay: Made using a blend of Author clays mixed with sand from the West and East Coast

Water Tight: Glazed with a simple clear gaze and fired to 1220 degrees to ensure the bowl is food safe and finished with a nice gloss.

West Coast is made with black clay infused with black sand from New Zealand’s rugged West Coast. Dark and mysterious, it reflects the drama of the wild coast and brings bold character to any form. A timeless finish that stands strong on its own or pairs beautifully with simple, understated design
