Hand Sculptured and Formed: Every part of this piece is sculptured by hand. Starting with large balls of clay, each piece is hand rolled, bent and twisted to form into a very unique piece of art

Authors Special Blend of Clay: Made using a blend of Author clays mixed with sand from the West and East Coast

Water Tight: Glazed with a simple clear gaze and fired to 1220 degrees to ensure the bowl is food safe and finished with a nice gloss.

All of our pieces are carefully packed in large boxes using eco-friendly packaging to ensure they arrive safe and secure even on long journeys.

A tracking number will be provided once your order has been shipped. Please note that all deliveries require a signature. If you’re not home at the time of delivery, your local postal service will hold your parcel for 12 days before returning it to us. If an order is returned, any reshipping costs will be your responsibility.

For international orders, please be aware that customs tariffs and local taxes may apply depending on your country. These charges are not included in your purchase price and are the responsibility of the customer.

Due to the high cost of shipping, international orders are non-refundable and cannot be returned.

This is a one-of-one iteration of The Boring Platter. No repeats, no replicas. Each piece is made as a standalone object, shaped instinctively and finished as its own final form.

Still sculptural. Still wildly functional. Designed to look just as good loaded up with food as it does resting naked on the table for all the mates to see.

The curves allow food and utensils to be separated naturally. Waves and dimples create height, perfect for folding smoked salmon, cured meats, or cradling whipped butter. Folded edges stop slippery crackers from making a break for the floor and make lifting the platter as easy as pouring a glass of champagne.

These one-offs are where the rules loosen. More movement. More experimentation. Small shifts in scale, fold, and flow that will never be repeated.
