Expertly packed for fragile ceramics. Every Author piece is hand-wrapped, double-boxed, and cushioned for the journey with paper, recycled cardboard, and reused packaging wherever we can.

Our promise. If a piece arrives broken, we’ll replace it or refund you. Your call.

All of our pieces are carefully packed in large boxes using eco-friendly packaging to ensure they arrive safe and secure even on long journeys.

A tracking number will be provided once your order has been shipped. Please note that all deliveries require a signature. If you’re not home at the time of delivery, your local postal service will hold your parcel for 12 days before returning it to us. If an order is returned, any reshipping costs will be your responsibility.

For international orders, please be aware that customs tariffs and local taxes may apply depending on your country. These charges are not included in your purchase price and are the responsibility of the customer.

Due to the high cost of shipping, international orders are non-refundable and cannot be returned.

Author Clay Blend: Made using our very own blend of white clay and black sand from the West Coast


Water Tight: Glazed with a simple clear gaze and fired to 1220 degrees to ensure the bowl is food safe. Dishwasher safe, but handwash to keep this beauty looking good for a lifetime.

Every piece is handmade so sizing does vary slightly. Approx sizing below.

approx 31 cm wide and 5 cm tall - inside bowl is approx 14 cm wide

mini is approx 19cm wide and 3cm tall

Sand Dune is our unique clay blend created to resemble the incredible textured sand dunes of Te Arai, one of our favourite surf spots. Infusing golden sand from our eastern coastline, this minimal finish compliments any flower arrangement or stands alone timelessly.
