Hand Sculptured and Formed: Every part of this piece is sculptured by hand. Starting with large balls of clay, each piece is hand rolled, bent and twisted to form into a very unique piece of art

Authors Special Blend of Clay: Made using a blend of Author clays mixed with sand from the West and East Coast

Water Tight: Glazed with a simple clear gaze and fired to 1220 degrees to ensure the bowl is food safe and finished with a nice gloss.

All of our pieces are carefully packed in large boxes using eco-friendly packaging to ensure they arrive safe and secure even on long journeys.

A tracking number will be provided once your order has been shipped. Please note that all deliveries require a signature. If you’re not home at the time of delivery, your local postal service will hold your parcel for 12 days before returning it to us. If an order is returned, any reshipping costs will be your responsibility.

For international orders, please be aware that customs tariffs and local taxes may apply depending on your country. These charges are not included in your purchase price and are the responsibility of the customer.

A soft oval platter inspired by the shape of a shell, with gentle waves running along the edge. It sits naturally within the Author collection, echoing the coastal forms and flowing movement that shape many of our pieces.

Through the centre runs our classic Author fold, creating two subtle sections within the platter. It’s perfect for a simple dinner for two, bread and olives, cheese and fruit, something small but special. The fold also doubles as a natural handle, making it easy to carry from kitchen to table.

But like most good platters, it refuses to be limited.
Pile it high with warm bread and dip.
