West Coast Short Poppy

One of my favourite pieces from our 30 day challenge. A fresh take on our classic wavy look, this shorter version is designed to hold a potted plant inside without a drainage hole means it is perfect to place any potted plant inside. It also looks striking as a stand-alone piece of art, or styled simply with a stunning fern. The name is a play on our Poppy collection and the tall Poppy vase. An evolution of the original Poppy vase, scaled down to be perfectly sized for a plant pot.   Key Features: Wheel Thrown on the Potters Wheel: This piece is formed on the wheel, then bent and moved by hand to create its signature waves and curves. Author Clay Blend: Made using our very own blend black sand from the West Coast. Water Tight: Glazed with a simple clear glaze and fired to 1220°C, ensuring it can hold water if you choose to style it with flowers.
