But I took it too far, the walls at the top of the vase became too thin. Seconds after my hands left the clay, the vase collapsed. Noooo, my vase I thought. I was a bit gutted, well until I discovered what I had created. The soft slump reminded me of tired clay that had had enough, it had created a space to rest.
